They Told a Pregnant Woman To Give up Their Dogs, But She Had Another Opinion

The most beautiful story I've ever heard ! This pregnant woman keeps her dogs regardless of the unsolicited advices of her family and friends.

After Two years of marriage, Sanjana Madappa and her husband, Aditya Raheja learned that their family will be bigger , they was already seven, them and five rescue dogs, and they were going to have a baby.

Like all couples, they announced that great news to their family and friends who immediately told them to get rid of their dogs because the baby come first.

In fact, Sanjana works in an animal rescue organization in the city of Bengaluru,India. As a result, she's taken in five dogs, and sees many others given up for many reasons, the pregnancy was one of them or the most reason makes pets given up by their owners.

“When I have tried to counsel these families, I get it thrown back in my face that since I don’t have children and haven’t experienced a pregnancy, I don’t get to have an opinion.
“So last year in April, my ever supportive husband and I decided to see what the fuss was about.” she wrote.

The couple loves each one of them, so Sanjana was firm in her response : the dogs were staying.

“I couldn’t ever in good conscience give away an animal that loves me and trusts me with the same innocence and purity that my baby does. I couldn’t abandon a family member to bring in another. I will not betray a life that depends on me as much as my son does. To all those people I will always say, NOT WITHOUT MY DOGS.” she wrote

Sanjana and Aditya welcomed a healthy baby boy. Ayan into the world, his five furry siblings are taking care of him. and he's having a great time with them.

And Sanjana is even more grateful fo her dogs.
“I can’t think of anything that could have prepared me as well for motherhood as my furry kids,” she wrote.
